Your pet's name:: Kirt |
Kurt was sweetest loving and caring cat I have ever known. Kurt was the personal escort for my 16yr old deaf chow, he would walk alog side of her when she went for a walk and would alert her if any thing approached. Kirt also was protective and would growl and run of stange dogs. Kirt also got the title of "my Nurse", he stayed by my side after my breast cancer surgery and recovery. Kirt was always ther for us .. "Our Guardian Angel". |

Sidney
» click to enlarge « March 5th I went to work and arrived home that afternoon to find the love of my life, my 5 lb papillion, Sidney, curled up in her bed dead. There was blood in pools on the floor. Hysterical, I took her to the Vet who could not tell me why she bled to death in her intestines. He never asked me about the food, nor did i think about it. She ate a small amount of the gravy mixed with her dry food and thats all it took. It made sense almost two weeks later when the recall came out. It was Ol Roy from Walmart that did it. My heart is just broken and I miss her terribly! |

Your pet's name:: Harley |
Harley was my most special guy. He had to be put to sleep March 6 after having eaten Ol'Roy dog food. He had no teeth so that was all he ate for the last 10 years. I wish there was something I could have done to save him. I miss him so much!!! |

Your pet's name:: Moorea, Pickle who hanging on. |
Her sister is very sick now too, she hanging on. She ate your left over food once Moorea left the earth here. It's been 6 weeks now since she's went into Kidney failure. She is still in the vet on full time IV Fluid. So Sad and the pain goes deeper than you know. My heart aches for all those pet's suffering today.
God Bless you,

Talk about emotions, I feel for everyone who is loosing their pets, who we all know are like our children. I hope some people are lucky enough to be able to afford the vet bills that are coming from all of this. I just wish the vets would give themselves and the medicine to the animals infected and then personally bill menu foods. I'm fortunate not to have picked the foods listed, but I have in the past used them before. Good luck everyone, your stories and pictures have touched my heart. Brought tears to my eyes. |

Her sister Airelle was also diagnosed with kidney failure 1 week later after eating only a few cans of the tainted food. We are still praying for Airelle and VERY SADLEY MISS DARION. Your pet's name:: Pete |
We always fed our Sweet Pete Ol'Roy slices and gravy and he always wolfed it down immediately, so, in retrospect, maybe we should have suspected a problem when he started vomiting and stopped eating his food, but would still eat ours. But Pete was old and we just attributed the problem to that. He suffered for three weeks before we finally had the vet put him down. We had him with us for nearly 14 years and for the last five he was Carrie's constant companion. That sweet dog loved us more that all the humans on this earth put together and his loss has left a terribly lonely void in our lives. We just thank God that we feed our cats one of the few uncontaminated brands. |

Your pet's name:: Bailey |
Bailey- March 19th, 2007
» click to enlarge « This is our baby who passed away on the morning of the 19th of March, due to kidney failure(dog food). Bailey was on my lap when she took her last breath.
It was hard for me to hold her and see her go through the pain she was having. Bailey was fighting for every breath until she couldn't fight anymore. After letting out a couple whines, her little body went into spazims and she started shaking. After what seemed to have lasted forever, her little body stoped and she was gone. All I could do is hold her and cry during this time.
This was the hardest thing I had to go through in my life. To see my little one suffer like this. We loved her very much and will miss her dearly.
I only wished the ones who did this to her would suffer the same way as she did... |

Your pet's name:: Sophie |
» click to enlarge « I took my beloved Sophie to the vet on February 19. The vet did bloodwork and told me that Sophie's kidneys were failing. I did not want my canine friend to suffer, so I chose to have her euthanized. Now I realize that the food she was eating was making her sick. Sophie trusted me to take care of her. I trusted the pet food manufacturer to provide safe food choices for Sophie. They let us all down and shame on them for it. |

"Our Ms. Boo"
» click to enlarge « We lost our Ms. Boo on Feb 9, 2007.
She was a once in a lifetime cat both in breed and character. She was a Black Tabby Manx (no tail). She acted just like one of the family. She was spoiled rotten. She talked and loved and was always there for us.
She suffered for almost two weeks. They tested her for everything. Everytime the tests kept coming back clean. But you could clearly see the suffering and illness she was going thru. We knew that her kidneys were shutting down and that she did have a stroke from whatever it was. |
