Audet & Partners, LLP has taken a lead role in representing Uber drivers in individual arbitration hearings against Uber to obtain reimbursement for particular expenses incurred while working as drivers for Uber.
Arbitration against Uber should now be considered a highly viable alternative to class action lawsuits against Uber in light of an Order issued on August 18, 2016 by the United States District Court for the Northern District of California. By that Order (click here to view The Order in its entirety), the Court rejected a proposed class action settlement as being unfair, inadequate and unreasonable to Uber drivers.
Audet & Partners, LLP is now actively engaged in arbitration claims on behalf of Uber drivers. The first individual Uber driver represented by Audet & Partners, Robert Gollnick, will have his matter heard before an arbitrator in San Francisco, California. Uber has agreed to pay all arbitrator’s fees, as well as half of the fees necessary to commence arbitration. Attorney Mark Burton from Audet & Partners, LLP is handling arbitrations being brought by drivers against Uber.
If you are or have been an Uber driver and are interested in pursuing individual arbitration with Uber, you are urged to complete and submit our online questionnaire below as soon as possible.
