Behr DeckOver Lawsuit Alleges False Advertising

Audet & Partners, LLP is investigating claims by consumers in a Behr DeckOver lawsuit that the popular deck and patio resurfacing product was falsely advertised as being superior to far less expensive deck stains.  Behr DeckOver coating, which was exclusively sold by Home Depot stores, was sold at a price several times that of more traditional stains.Marketing materials, including websites of both Behr and Home Depot, heavily promoted DeckOver as vastly superior to traditional stains

In an effort to justify the higher price of Behr DeckOver, marketing materials, including websites of both Behr and Home Depot, heavily promoted DeckOver as vastly superior to traditional stains.  Unfortunately, widespread reports by consumers who purchased and applied Behr DeckOver suggest in a Behr DeckOver lawsuit that the product actually performed far more poorly than far less expensive stains.  Many DeckOver consumers have alleged that the product resulted in premature peeling and flaking requiring expensive repairs and/or deck replacement.

The law firm is no longer accepting clients in this case.
