Balance of Nature Lawsuit Alleges False Advertising of Supplements

Despite not having secured approval by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (“FDA”), Balance of Nature promoted these supplements as possessing curative properties for ailments and diseases ranging from the common cold to pneumonia, diabetes, arthritis, cancer, and Covid-19.  This absence of regulatory approval prompted the FDA to issue a warning letter to Balance of Nature on August 20, 2019 in which the FDA warned the company that it was marketing its products based on unapproved and illegal claims.  These marketing statements have now given rise to claims in this Balance of Nature lawsuit based on false advertising.
