Every lawyer and employee of Audet & Partners, LLP is required by the Code of Professional Responsibility of his or her state to keep all matters related to the business of our clients confidential. This confidentiality requirement extends to all personnel and precludes discussion of a client’s business with persons other than those with a need to know who is actively working for the Firm or who have duly authorized representatives of the client, and/or as part of any discovery required in your case and/or third-party vendors working with the firm on your case (ie, experts or consultants). In addition to the professional requirements of confidentiality, the Firm has a strict policy on confidentiality of client information. We value the trust and confidence which our clients place in us.

This Privacy Policy Notice tells you the kind of information we collect about you, with whom we share it, and how we protect it responsibly. The examples you find in this notice are for purposes of illustration only and should not be considered to be a complete description of our information practices.

Categories of Information Which We Collect: We collect nonpublic personal information about you from the following sources: 1 Information we receive from you concerning our representation, of your and/or your company;  2 Information about your transactions with third parties; 3. Information that we receive from third parties as a result of our representation, including persons providing services in connection with your transactions.

We do not disclose information about you to third parties except as required or permitted by law, specifically authorized by you, or required under the Rules of Professional Conduct and/or the rules of discovery and/or a court order. If your relationship with us terminates or becomes inactive, we will continue to treat the information we have collected about you as confidential, by this notice.

We maintain physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to protect client information. Our employees are bound by laws and our policies which limit their access to client information to access for legitimate purposes only and which require them to keep information about clients confidential.

Audet & Partners, LLP maintains the privacy of any information you provide to us. We do not sell or redistribute your personal information or e-mail address in any manner. We may share certain information with other attorneys and/or potential cocounsel at other law firms as part of our representation of you.  The information is generally what is necessary to assist with the investigation of your claims and/or as part of a filing your case in federal or state court.

If you choose to contact us via e-mail by completing one of the contact forms on any one of our websites, your message is automatically forwarded to an attorney and/or legal assistant. We retain the information you provide us in a database.  None of this information is sold or shared with any outside third party. In certain cases, we may permit co-counsel or retained experts or physicians to assist our attorneys in reviewing e-mail correspondence provided that they, in turn, maintain the confidentiality of your message.

If you would like to update or change any information you have provided to us, please send an e-mail message to audetteam@audetlaw.com with your new or updated information. If you are already on our newsletter mailing list and would prefer not to receive such mailings, please send us a message requesting removal from the list by sending a message to audetteam@audetlaw.com.
